Andargachew "Andy" Tsege is an unmistakable Ethiopian legislator who recently filled in as the secretary-general of Ginbot 7, an ideological group marked as a fear-based oppressor bunch by the Ethiopian government.
On 23 June 2014, he was snatched by Ethiopian security powers while in travel in Yemen's Sana'a International Airport and was held in an obscure area in Ethiopia.
The leader of the Law Society and the seat of the Bar Council had encouraged the UK's Foreign Secretary to work to make sure about Tsege's discharge. On 29 May 2018, Andargachew was liberated by the Ethiopian government.
During his secondary school a very long time in Teferi Mekonnen School and later as a Mechanical Engineering understudy at Addis Ababa University, Tsege turned out to be dynamic in the understudy development. Following the Ethiopian transformation of 1974 when a military tyranny, Derg, held onto power he joined the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Party (EPRP) and went underground, as most the Ethiopian youth, in their battle against the Marxist system.
During the Derg's Red Terror battle of 1974, his more youthful sibling Amha Tsege was killed by the security powers and Andargachew fled Ethiopia. Afterward, because of an ideological contrast in the EPRP party, Tsege crossed into Sudan. In 1979 he was conceded refuge in the United Kingdom (UK), where he later picked up citizenship.
